John Deere 2955

Have a friend that has a JD 2955...was leaking hydraulic fluid badly...came from the seals at the base of the three point hitch. Fairly reasonable fix...expect replacing the 20 gallons of fluid. Anyway, looked at a JD 7220 and it had the same setup. When you are looking at the picture it is the seal where the three point hitch attached to the main frame at the bottom. Is this seal a common leaking problem for a John Deere? TIA.
